Corporate yacht charter: teambuilding or race day
More of a ‘hands on day’ with a competitive edge. Either ‘race’ or compete in our unique ‘teambuilding exercise’ between departments or companies. For team-bonding the teambuilding exercise can be used by the whole group to achieve a common goal. We can advise on the most appropriate yachts and structure races or teambuilding exercises to ensure everyone has lots of fun! below is a guide to the day but times can be adjusted to suit your preference:
0900 Meet your Skipper and fellow guests over bacon rolls, coffee and juice.
0930 Skippers briefing aboard your yacht covers all aspects of boat safety, the basics of chart work needed to carry out the day’s activities and an introduction to yacht sailing
1000 Depart from Portsmouth Harbour, you will be shown how to raise and trim the sails and for those who are keen, how to helm the yacht
1300 Stop for lunch in one of Cowes historic pubs or enjoy a delicious buffet meal aboard
1400 Set sail for either ‘one or two races’ or your ‘teambuilding exercise’ to put all that was learnt in the morning into practice!
1700 Arrive at Marina for prize giving and swap sailing stories in the bar before departure.
